We had the wonderful opportunity to go to the Museum of Computing on Friday the 14th of June. These machines that we saw were gigantic computers, some of which helped us decode the German messages during WWII. Seeing these machines showed me how far we have come technologically. Our tour lead us through history and showed us that today, we are surrounded by computers. Some computers, we don't even recognize as being such. Our washing machine, flat irons, dryers, so simple in today's standards any yet shows how far humanity has come.
We didn't get to just see the computers, we got to see them WORK. They flashed and buzzed, making really loud noises. It was amazing to witness!
